Our AIM >

At Project AIM, we envision a future where people who bleed and people who struggle with incontinence are given both emergency and long-lasting support to tend to their basic human needs and/or chronic medical conditions. We believe that barrier-free access should be granted to everyone—regardless of gender identity or economic status. The complex intersection of shame and accessibility with issues such as poverty, domestic violence or proximity to marginalized communities is one we hope to attend to and solve with the help of our local community and your donations.

“DIGNITY IS A HUMAN RIGHT.”

— Tiffany Francis, AIM Executive Volunteer | Owner of Woodside Enterprises

Project AIM began in 2020 based on the needs presented to us in our local community. Since the very beginning we have had a goal to continue to secure funding to obtain menstrual and incontinence products to be able to meet the needs of our local community. Project AIM services people in need from Vancouver to Hope and has even serviced clients across Canada when able to. Last year (2021) with the help of our local donations and partnerships we were able to provide our community members with over $15,000 worth of menstrual and incontinence products, both reusable and disposable.

At Project AIM we envision a future where people who bleed and people who struggle with incontinence are given both emergency and long-lasting support to tend to their basic human needs and/or chronic medical conditions. We believe that barrier-free access should be granted to everyone - regardless of gender identity or economic status.

Project AIM does not just provide products to individual clients in the community but also has relationships with local shelters and other impactful groups that are regularly donated to. Creating connections with organizations that can get products out to more people helps up continue to strive for our goal of having access for all. We feel that the more access to these products there are, the easier it is to get them out effectively.

Our gracious MLA Kelly Paddon featured Project AIM in a speech in the house of commons as seen here:

We will continue to do what we do until our dream of full access for menstrual and incontinence products for all people is achieved!
